PP Yangzi Petrochemical F401 Resin
PP Yangzi Petrochemical F401 Resin
Material Introduction: PP Yangzi Petrochemical F401 is widely‑used polypropylene homopolymer. It delivers good mechanical strength, heat resistance and stable processing performance.
Main Applications
Injection‑molded products: TV housings, radio housings, electrical insulating materials, general mechanical parts, corrosion‑resistant parts, insulating components, daily‑use articles (basins, buckets, furniture), bottle caps, automotive bumpers.
Extruded products: flat yarn (for woven bags, woven fabrics, strapping bands), fibers, packaging films, anti‑corrosion pipes, sheets, storage tanks and others.

Injection‑Molding Process Parameters
| Process Item | Suggested Range / Description | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| Drying treatment | Generally unnecessary; dry at 80℃ for 1‑2 h under poor storage condition | ‑ |
| Barrel rear zone(feed section) | 160‑180℃ | Prevent thermal degradation. |
| Barrel middle zone(compression section) | 180‑200℃ | ‑ |
| Barrel front zone(metering section) | 200‑220℃ | ‑ |
| Nozzle temperature | 200‑210℃ | ‑ |
| Mold temperature | 40‑80℃,recommended 50℃ | Crystallization mainly determined by mold temperature. Poor surface, weld‑line and flow‑mark defects may occur at low temperature; warpage easily occurs at high temperature. |
| Injection pressure | 68.6‑137.2 MPa (max up to 1800 bar) | ‑ |
| Holding pressure | 50%‑60% of injection pressure | Prevent shrinkage cavity and excessive shrinkage. |
| Injection speed | High‑speed injection is generally recommended to minimize internal pressure. If surface defects occur on finished parts, adopt low‑speed injection under higher temperature. | ‑ |
| Runner & Gate | For cold runner, typical runner diameter: 4‑7 mm. All gate types are applicable, typical gate diameter: 1‑1.5 mm. Round‑type gates and runners are preferred. Hot‑runner systems are available. |
